Are you seeking more Joy in your life? The classical wisdom of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali contain powerful tools to cultivate inner peace, four of which are the cultivation of Friendship, Compassion, Delight and Equanimity towards Self and others. They are known together as the Four Immeasurables.

In this four part program series, Teachers Subba and Priyan will guide you in experiencing these tools firsthand, so you can authentically integrate them into your daily life and practice for lasting Happiness.

Let's embark on this journey together towards your inner radiant potential.

What To Expect

Each session will begin with a 90 minute Yoga practice led by Priyan, intended to begin exploration of the theme of the session.

Subba will guide you in the second part in a series of lectures, meditations, journalling and self reflection practices to help guide you deeper, focusing on the means in which you can bring this wisdom off your mat and into your daily life.

Who is This Suitable For

The Yoga Sequences will be gentle and movement based, suitable for yogis of all levels of proficiency, and will incorporate breath work and breath awareness. The Mindfulness Practices after will not be religious based.

We invite yogis and non yogis alike to join our Heart Centric practice of Intentional Simplicity.

What To Bring

Be dressed for movement and have a water bottle and towel handy, and optionally bring along a change of clothes and your Journal for the second part of the practice. Mats and props will be provided. Writing materials will also be made available if you need them.

About the Teachers

Subba Sattvic

Subba Sattvic is the Wisdom Teacher and Co-founder of Being Sattvaa, where he believes that the true legacy we leave behind is how we live our lives. 

Alongside his background in engineering and business studies, Subba ji was initiated into the Vedas at a young age and has since developed a unique blend of knowledge that integrates ancient wisdom with contemporary sciences of the mind. Through decades of meditation, silence, and study of Yoga Sutras and Vedanta, he has honed his teachings to seamlessly connect the past with the present.

Priyan Nithya

Priyan is an ERYT500 certified Yoga Teacher with over nine years of experience conducting modern Hatha style Yoga Classes for students of all proficiencies and levels of fitness. As the founder of Nithya Priyan School of Yoga and the author of Singapore’s first book of Yoga Asanas - “Joy in the Body”, his intimate knowledge of modern and traditional aspects of this breath-led movement style has led countless yogis to find their centeredness and grounding, Here and Now in the Heart.
